Welcome to Gr 5/6 

Dear Students

Welcome to gr 5/6 at St. Joseph's School.  We are excited to see you in September.  The following is a list of materials that you are encouraged to bring for the start of the school year.  

• a package of duo tangs (5 would be good)  Binders are not necessary
• pencils, erasers, pencil crayons, an appropriate sized pencil case (remember your desks will have other things in them too)
• scissors, glue stick 
• ruler, calculator, a geometry set (would be beneficial) 
• an inexpensive pair of head phones or ear buds (for you to use in the lab)
• indoor shoes, 
• a change of clothing and running shoes for phys ed
• a water bottle will be permitted but must go home every night
• independent reading material (a book, novel, magazine, etc)

**** Please remember to put your name on all your things so we all know who they belong to.
